Not gonna lie….week 8 had me scratching my head at times. Especially Monday night with Washington getting a win in Dallas with Colt McCoy at QB. Must be Halloween or something. Did not see that one coming.

Week 9 brings us a bunch of teams on a bye so be sure to dig through the waiver wire hard.

BYES: Atlanta, Buffalo, CHicago, Detroit, Green Bay, Tennessee

Teddy Bridgewater, QB, Minnesota Vikings

The Vikes threw the ball a lot last week and Bridgewater played pretty well. The Redskins might be emotionally drained after a big win in Dallas and on a short week. Bridgewater also has running capability for some extra points.

Chris Ivory, RB, New York Jets

Not much to cheer about with the Jets but Ivory has been somewhat of a bright spot. He’s like a pinball just bouncing off people. Kansas City might be 11th in rushing defense but the Jets HAVE to run the ball to be any kind of effective. Vick should be better than Smith so turnovers should be down a tad.

John Brown, WR, Arizona Cardinals

QB Carson Palmer found Brown last week against the Eagles 5 times for 119 yards including a 75 yard score. Brown has shown the Cradinals that he can do damage as a third WR. I like Palmer to keep finding him against the Cowboys this week.

Heath Miller, TE, Pittsburgh Steelers

Great game this past week as Roethlisberger was on fire. Not that I’m expecting a repeat output but I would expect a little carryover. Huge game against Baltimore so everyone should be involved.

Cincinnati Bengals, D/ST

Yeah….cuz it’s home against Jacksonville.

Tony Romo, QB, Dallas Cowboys

We’ll know more about Romo and his minor injury later in the week. I’d expect him to go but short week and a very confident Arizona team coming in does scare me. The ‘Boys could be starting that usual tailspin.

ANY St. Louis RB

Fisher has become Belichik like in that he seems to want to ride the ‘hot-hand’ at RB. I hate a RB carousel and if you picked up Tre Mason or think Cunningham but then think Stacy you’re always wrong. Plus…’re playing San Fran this week.

Vincent Jackson, WR, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

I hate inconsistent! Also, I’d hate to see Joe Haden on the other side of the ball. Cleveland really isn’t that bad and Tampa really isn’t that good.

Jason Witten, TE, Dallas Cowboys

As I think Romo will have a tough go I have to think Witten suffers as a result. He’ll probably have to be used as added blocking protection for Romo.

Kansas City Chiefs, D/ST

I know they play the Jets but with Geno Smith taking a back seat the turnovers should be limited and Vick will probably somewhat efficient.
