It is the halfway point in fantasy football my friends. Can you believe it? It’s make or break time for you to make your push if you’re teetering on the edge of relevence. Do your homework and comb that waiver wire thoroughly. Remember…..ANYTHING can happen!
BYES: Buffalo, Philadelphia, Washington, Jacksonville
QB, Teddy Bridgewater, Minnesota Vikings
Have you seen Bridgewater’s new Diggs….Stefon Diggs that is? Teddy has a new favorite target in Minnesota and Stefon has not disappointed. They connected for 108 yards and a TD last week against the Lions and this week brings on the Bears. I like the matchup.
RB, Chris Johnson, Arizona Cardinals
Ya know….this guy just toys with me. I’ve been one of his biggest supporters that he still has a lot left in the tank. He’s second in the league in rushing right now and has seemingly taken the starting role from Andre Ellington. This week brings the Cleveland Browns who are an open door policy against the run. Give CJ another start.
WR, Brandin Cooks, New Orleans Saints
The Giants are the second worst in passing defense in the league. When they go to New Orleans, Brees has lit them up big. I don’t see why that would change here and expect Cooks to have a nice day.
TE, Eric Ebron, Detroit Lions
Ebron has been pretty solid so far this season for the Lions. Getting around 5-6 targets a game and has 3 TD’s so far. He’s a redzone weapon and I’d look for him to get another TD this week against the Chiefs with around 60 yards receiving.
D/ST, Tennessee Titans
Third in the league in total defense and was tough against Atlanta last week. Houston, with Arian Foster now done, scares me even less. Titans a trong play this week.
QB, Andrew Luck, Indianapolis Colts
The Colts are such a mess and Luck is just stuck in the middle. He may throw a ton to try and keep up with Carolina but there’s just nothing to be positive about in this game.
RB, Darren McFadden, Dallas Cowboys
He’s the talk of the waiver wire as he had a monster game against the Giants last week. I’m not so sure he has the same success against the Seahawks.
WR, T.Y. Hilton, Indianapolis Colts
He made all his points in garbage time last week. Don’t let the numbers mislead you. Carolina will play to finish the game. There is not much to like about this matchup.
TE, Jason Witten, Dallas Cowboys
Cassel was a disaster last week. Seattle comes to town this week. Are you psyched?
D/ST, Denver Broncos
I’m saying it people. Sit the Broncos this week. This will be the first true test of Denver’s defense and I think Aaron Rodgers carves ’em up pretty good.
