There’s nothing better than value in fantasy football. Perhaps it doesn’t ring true specifically for season long leagues, but if you’re into the daily/weekly grind, nothing beats a cheap sleeper that ultimately goes nuts. The trouble is, they’re kind of tough to come by, and they’re even harder to actually muster up the guts to play when cash is on the line.

But sometimes you just gotta roll with your gut and lean on the logic. For instance, Drew Brees is just $8.1k over at Draft Kings this week. That’s not exactly cheap, but compared to Aaron Rodgers ($9k and the top QB salary), it actually kind of is.

There’s more than Brees, though, and much better deals, as well. Just keep in mind that using too many true value plays (below $5k) is a dangerous game. Stick to 1-2 and try to fill out the rest of your roster with reliable, proven players that you think can go off. Last night Keenan Allen went nuts and he was available for $4.4k. That would have been a nice guy to jump all over.

Thanks to this cool fantasy tool from, you can see who I like in the sleeper realm based off of my week eight fantasy rankings. Of course, I’m not enamored with all of these guys. I’ll specifically note which ones and why below. For the rest, hit up the graphic and decide for yourself which sleepers are worth winning you a million bucks in week eight:

Andy Dalton is a pretty good value, but I don’t necessarily like him. He’s at home and the matchup isn’t terrible, but if A.J. Green is still out I’d refrain from using him. I’m still not overly high on Julian Edelman, either. His PPR value has dropped quite a bit lately and while his home matchup with the Bears could work out, I’d rather spend my money on Doug Baldwin, Michael Floyd and/or Jeremy Maclin.
