Please! Stop! I hear you all yelling and screaming at me. My starts for week 5 were like making you buy stock in ice. However, since only Oakland and Miami were on the bye week I’m guessing you didn’t have too many tough decisions to make.

Week 6 offers a chance at redemption and to right the ship back on course. Let’s get to it for your start/sit calls for week 6.

START

QB, Eli Manning, New York Giants

Eli has been HOT as of late and so have the GMEN with three straight wins. Rookie WR Odell Beckham Jr. is going to add another dimension to the passing game. Phili can be had on defense so I’m going to ride Eli’s hot streak in a dvisional statement game.

RB, Branden Oliver, San Diego Chargers

Really nice game against the Jets last week. I’m betting he’s earned split carries with Donald Brown and has shown to be effective; running with a purpose. Pick him up and throw him in your flex this week against Oakland.

WR, Allen Hurns, Jacksonville Jaguars

Yeah, I’m digging deep this week. Trying to predict Hurns’ stats are impossible but he’s getting targets and playing Tennessee this week. I think he’s worthy of a WR3 spot.

TE, Tim Wright, New England Patriots

It was deja vu the other night watching a #81 catch passes for the Patriots. Tim Wright looked like a viable Aaron Hernandez replacement opposite Gronkowski and should see his targets and value rise, especially as a redzone threat. He’s at least worth a stash at this point.

D/ST, Detroit Lions

The Lions take on the Vikings this week and if Ponder is still at QB for the Vikes the Lions should feast.

SIT

QB, Tony Romo, Dallas Cowboys

Dallas was inept at times against Houston this past week and Seattle’s defense ALWAYS scares you.

RB, Doug Martin, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The Ravens come to Tampa in week 6 and understand that you need to limit two players…Doug Martin and Vincent Jackson. The Ravens will make QB Mike Glennon try and beat them throught he air.

WR, Sammy Watkins, Buffalo Bills

He may only be your flex but don’t expect anything out of him. New England is playing with a purpose now and I’d expect Watkins to be stranded on Revis Island.

TE, Jason Witten, Dallas Cowboys

Remember….it’s Seattle. So sit Witten and pick up Tim Wright for a week. It’s a way better matchup

D/ST, Carolina Panthers

Cincy should be pretty motivated after getting whipped in New England. Coming back home after a dismal loss; I’d expect Marvin Lewis to get his guys motivated and back on track.
