The NFL is insane. Change the record, right? Entering week three, we had several undefeated teams and a few that weren’t even in the playoffs a year ago. On the flip-side, we had a few that were in the playoffs last year but had yet to even win their first game. Now that week three is in the bag, it might be getting even more ridiculous. The Saints and Colts finally won a game, but the Cardinals and Eagles are now 3-0. Is this a season for the birds or are these teams pretenders? Or perhaps there is an even better undefeated team that takes the cake in our week four power rankings?

Let’s find out:

1. Cincinnati Bengals
Record: 3-0
The Bengals are atop the NFL, at least for the time being. They have a great young defense and an explosive young offense. They still aren’t at full force either. They are without Vontaze Burfict, and Marvin Jones is yet to play. Tyler Eifert should be back in time for a playoff run as well. The Bengals have no excuse for a playoff let down this season.

2. Seattle Seahawks
Record: 2-1
The Seahawks dethroned the Broncos from our power rankings. They dominated most of the game, however the offense let up late. Still when you’re the defending champs, have the most dominant D in the league and beat the top ranked team, it’s hard to not climb this high. The jury will be out Week 5, when they’re back on the road.

3. Philadelphia Eagles
Record: 3-0
It hasn’t been pretty at times, but the Eagles are still undefeated. It doesn’t always matter how you do it, as long as you get it done.

4. Denver Broncos
Record: 2-1
The Broncos needed that win. Despite putting up a strong fight, like he’s done so often in his career, Peyton Manning couldn’t get it done in a big game against a tough D.

5. Arizona Cardinals
Record: 2-1
What the Cards are doing with a backup QB is extremely impressive. Their defense is tough, led by a dominant secondary. If they keep winning, they’ll keep climbing.

6. Carolina Panthers
Record: 2-1
The Panthers really got beat up by the Steelers Sunday night. We’re going to take that as more of an aberration than a sign of things to come. If it happens again they could see a major drop. Greg Hardy’s absence was apparent.

7. San Diego Chargers
Record: 2-1
The Chargers look really good. Nobody really believed in the Bills, but they have been extremely impressive thus far.

8. Detroit Lions
Record: 2-1
The Lions really put a beat down on Aaron Rodgers and the Packers. Despite a poor start, we still believe that’s a quality victory.

9. Atlanta Falcons
Record: 2-1
The Falcons beat the Bucs so bad it made us think, “How bad are the Bucs?” more than “How good are the Falcons?”

10. New England Patriots
Record: 2-1
The Patriots have not looked good, but they’re still the Patriots. Barley beating the Raiders isn’t impressing anybody. The jury is very much out on the Pats.

11. Baltimore Ravens
Record: 2-1
The Ravens after a tough loss to the Bengals have looked very good since. A showdown with the Panthers looms heavy this week.

12. Chicago Bears
Record: 2-1
After a shocking loss to the Bills Week 1, the Bears have rebounded very nicely.

13. Pittsburgh Steelers
Record: 2-1
Where did that come from? The Steelers put a shocking beat down on the Panthers Sunday night. We did not see that coming. Not by dominating on the ground and with solid defense.

14. Buffalo Bills
Record: 2-1
Nobody really believed in the Bills. Can’t throw the ball and can’t stop the throw. Don’t be surprised if they continue to fall.

15. Houston Texans
Record: 2-1
Everybody was so excited how good the Texans defense was the first two weeks that we all forgot how bad their quarterback was… We have been reminded.

16. Indianapolis Colts
Record: 1-2
They really beat down, and then proceeded to run the score up on the Jags. It’s just the Jags. We all think the Colts are good and that’s really what their ranking is based on.

17. New Orleans Saints
Record: 1-2
See the Colts’ write up above. The Colts just beat their terrible opponent worse than the Saints beat their terrible opponent.

18. Dallas Cowboys
Record: 2-1
Yes, it was a nice comeback. Nonetheless there were two very bad signs. Their defense looked as bad as we thought they would be and it was against a third string QB. Don’t get too excited Dallas.

19. San Francisco 49ers
Record: 1-2
A lot went wrong this offseason in San Francisco. This could just be a case of the 49ers aren’t going to be that good.

20. Green Bay Packers
Record: 1-2
The Packers have really looked bad. The only reason they aren’t much lower on this list is because they have one of the best QBs in the NFL.

21. Washington Redskins
Record: 1-2
The Redskins lost this a hard fought game this week, however with Kirk Cousins at the helm, it looks like a whole new offense in the nation’s capital.

22. Miami Dolphins
Record: 1-2
After an extremely impressive season opener, the Dolphins have suffered two extremely unimpressive losses.

23. New York Jets
Record: 1-2
The d-line is dominant, everything else is bad. Much like at West Virginia, Geno Smith is an inconsistent turnover machine.

24. Kansas City Chiefs
Record: 1-2
They beat the disappointing Dolphins. The Dolphins may have that breakout offense many expected. Don’t expect the Chiefs to climb much higher.

25. Cleveland Browns
Record: 1-2
They really try. The effort is there, but they just don’t have the talent to put them over the top.

26. St Louis Rams
Record: 1-2
They’re doing the best they can with a third string QB, a make shit WR corps and a plodder at RB. The Rams look like they are still a year or two away.

27. Tennessee Titans
Record: 1-2
The Titans looked good week one and have looked awful since. They need to figure out their identity as a team.

28. Minnesota Vikings
Record: 1-2
No Adrian Peterson, no offense. Unless Teddy Bridgewater is the offensive rookie of the year, don’t expect much offense, AP isn’t coming back.

29. New York Giants
Record: 1-2
Wins may be rare for the Giants this year. They should enjoy it while it lasts and be grateful they got to play Ryan Fitzpatrick this week.

30. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Record: 0-3
Well that really escalated quickly.

31. Jacksonville Jaguars
Record: 0-3
The Colts just relentless beat the Jaguars. They were adding insult to injury. The good news is Blake Bortles gets his shot next week. Hopefully he can have a positive impact.

32. Oakland Raiders
Record: 0-3
They were competitive against the Patriots. There are no moral victories in the NFL, the only way they climb out of the basement is with a win… Or if the Jags and Bucs get beat down like they did this week again.
