Championship time!!!! The fantasy football season is almost complete. Time sure flies when you’re havin’ fun. I hope all of you enjoyed the season as much as I did.
As most of us wind down this week, we will have a week 17 edition for those who have a title game next week. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! We look forward to hearing from you next season!
QB, Tony Romo, Dallas Cowboys
Romo really impressed me las week against the Eagles. He made really good decisions. Indianapoils can be had on defense. I’m betting the “good” Tony Romo shows up this week in a big game at home.
RB, Joseph Randle, Dallas Cowboys
Of course, this is contingent on DeMarco Murray’s stats. As I said above, Indi can be gashed and Randle is fresh and has shown some nice burst and yards after contact in previous games. He could be the pickup of the week and help you win a title.
WR, Harry Douglas, Atlanta Falcons
Huge game last week in place of the injured Julio Jones. If Jones is inactive or limited this week you can bet on Douglas to be a prime option like last week for QB Matt Ryan.
TE, Kyle Rudolph, Minnesota Vikings
Rudolph has been getting some looks and targets the past few weeks. And he certainly has not disappointed with some decent output. I like him for a score this week with good production.
D/ST, Buffalo Bills
The Bills defense stymied Aaron Rodgers last week. Can they survive a cross country trip to Oakland without a letdown? I think so.
QB, Philip Rivers, San Diego Chargers
I know San Fran was beat last week but the defense actually played pretty well. I think Rivers is going to be on his back a lot.
RB, Marshawn Lynch, Seattle Seahawks
Yup! I’m telling you to sit Lynch for your championship game. Arizona is pretty good against the run and they aren’t going to let Lynch just get his carries and march down the field. I think Lynch has limited output of about 75 yards and no TD’s.
WR, Alshon Jeffrey, Chicago Bears
Wow! After watching Monday night it’s hard to trust anyone from the Bears. They look like they’ve given up. Against the top passing D in Detroit this week, Jeffrey should see a ton of double coverage and you can’t trust Jay Cutler.
D/ST, Green Bay Packers
I don’t know why but I think Tamp WR Mike Evans has a big week against the Pack.
