All I have to say is thank God for a first round playoff bye! I woulda been creamed without the bye and some studs turned to absolute duds in week 14. If you’re still alive, week 15 should be just as exciting with just as many surprises. Good Luck to you in the playoffs!
QB, Matt Ryan, Atlanta Falcons
The Falcons, despite the loss at Green Bay, proved they have some fight. Matt Ryan and Julio Jones were the ultimate connection. Ryan has a juicy matchup against Pittsburgh at home this week and, despite the poor record, are still in first in the NFC South. A win here would be a big step towards the playoffs. Matty-ICE should be bigtime this week.
RB, Pierre Thomas, New Orleans Saints
New Orleans is still in the playoff hunt with the Falcons. Chicago hasn’t been too good on defense this season. Though Ingram will get the start and bulk of touches, I think Thomas can scorch the Bears out of the backfield and will get the opportunity to do so. I think he’s at least a strong flex play this week.
WR, Jordan Matthews, Philadelphia Eagles
It wasn’t even two weeks ago that Matthews burned the Cowboys pretty well. Sanchez was locked in on him and this time it’s in Philli. This is a monster game in the NFC East. Phili can put tight grasp on the division with a win. I think you see more of the same with Matthews having another nice day as a big part of the offense.
TE, Jordan Cameron, Cleveland Browns
Cameron finally came back from injury last week and was noticable shaking off the rust. Also, it seems Johnny football will get his first start. I don’t think Cinci can truly prepare for Manziel and I think Cameron will benefit from it.
D/ST, New York Giants
Washington is such a mess right now that, if you have a defense with a bad matchup, you can probably pick the Gmen up off waivers as a top ten play this week.
QB, Tony Romo, Dallas Cowboys
The Eagles’ defense looked really good last week despite the loss. They were able to rush and hurry Russel Wilson and I think they can do the same to Romo, who is turnover-prone.
RB, Daniel Herron, Indianapolis Colts
He’s still going to split some carries with Trent Richardson. Houston isn’t great against the run but I’m feeling Luck can just throw on them all day; especially to Hilton.
WR, A.J Green, Cincinatti Bengals
I’m not saying SIT Green because you can’t. Just don’t expect a monster output with Joe Haden lurking and spying his every move. Green is gonna have to fight for a big day.
TE, Larry Donnell, New York Giants
You might like him because of his last game against the Redskins earlier in the year. But that was before Odell Beckham, Jr came into the lineup. Donnell’s targets are going way down due to the emergence of Beckham. He’ll be a non-factor.
D/ST, Arizona Cardinals
Arizona’s D has been a strength for most of the year but there seem to be some holes as of late. Be wary of a Rams team that has been playing pretty well as of late.
