If you’re reading this, you’ve probably made the playoffs in your fantasy football league. Congrats! Now, it’s time to buckle down and make those tough decisions that win you championships…..and more importantly, bragging rights for a year.
Week 14 start/sit comin’ up!
QB, Johnny Manziel, Cleveland Browns
Of course this is IF Manziel starts. However, it looks like the Manziel era may officially begin in Cleveland. The Colts’ defense poses a nice matchup for Manziel. We all know what he’s capable of and tends to shine when he has the attention. This pickup could win you a championship.
RB, Pierre Thomas, New Orleans Saints
Ingram has been getting the bulk of the carries but Thomas gets the receiving touches. The Saints are at home this week against a Carolina team that is struggling. Thomas should get a good amount of touches with nice production this week.
WR, Kenny Stills, New Orleans Saints
Stills had a nice game last week at Pittsburgh and I think that should continue at home against the Panthers. Despite their record, the Saints are fighting for the playoffs and I like Drew Brees to step up and be bigtime down the stretch.
TE, Tim Wright, New England Patriots
Gronk has been getting the steady looks lately so it just seems like now is the time for Belichik to want to go to Wright since everyone has probably forgotten about him. I think Wright is the ultimate redzone target this week with 2 TD’s.
D/ST, Minnesota Vikings
Huge game last week for the purple special teams. And yeah…..they play the Jets at home this week. I like ’em!
QB, Matt Ryan, Atlanta Falcons
Really nice game last week against a top-tier defense in Arizona. However, this week in the cold at Green Bay? I urge you to stay away.
RB, LeSean McCoy, Philadelphia Eagles
Phili has to travel way northwest to face the Seahawks’ seemingly rejuvinated defense. Seattle is just so tough at home that I think the run game will be limited.
WR, Reggie Wayne, Indianapolis Colts
Cleveland’s defense is actually pretty good. Wayne and Hilton could find it tough on the road this week.
TE, Antonio Gates, San Diego Chargers
Gates is a primary weapon for Rivers and you know the Patriots understand that. They have to take Gates away as he is always a first look for Rivers. The Patriots will shut him down.
D/ST, Houston Texans
This is my wild-card pick. I think the Jaguars are gonna put up quite a fight after building some confidence last week against my totally awful Giants. This game will be closer than you think with the Jags at home.
