We all witnessed a tremendous game this past Sunday night in which we saw the Kansas City Chiefs take the overtime thriller in Denver. However, it wasn’t all rainbows and butterflies for the Chiefs as their secondary continued to struggle. This bodes well for an Atlanta Falcons passing attack in week 13 which feasts through the air.

With Steven Nelson (remains questionable this week) out, we saw his replacement Phillip Gaines get toasted as he gave up over 200 yards and a pair of touchdowns in week 12. While Julio Jones should have a huge game this week and speedy receiver Taylor Gabriel is always a threat, that doesn’t mean Mohamed Sanu can’t either. Sanu will likely be covered by Gaines (assuming Nelson is out) and if last week was any indication, it could mean for a huge day for Sanu.

While Sanu has been mostly quiet the past few weeks, he did haul in all eight of his targets last week. He’s due for a score, too, as he hasn’t scored since week eight. Against a secondary like Kansas City and a defense which allows the second most fantasy points to opposing wide receivers – all signs point to Sanu having a big game this week, and at only $4,400. He can serve as a valuable WR3 on your DraftKings daily fantasy football lineup in week 13.

Sanu could also factor into season long fantasy football leagues if you’re in need of help at wide receiver. Given the matchup and his ability in a high octane passing game, Sanu could profile as an interesting WR3 or Flex play.
