It’s Tuesday and it keeps saying the Colts beat the Broncos last Sunday. Ronnie Hillman had ZERO points? Against the Colts? Thanks for the big goose-egg and a loss this week. And we’ll throw a big shout out to Eddie Lacy as well. I just cannot wrap my head around this NFL season…and it’s only week 9. What the hell esle can go wrong? Maybe I shouldn’t ask that. Maybe I should just tell you guys the players I’M going against this week so you can just start them. Every team seems to have their best week against me. Oh well….that’s the fantasy life.

On to week 9 shall we!

BYES: Atlanta, Indianapolis, San Diego, San Francisco

START

QB, Matthew Stafford, Detroit Lions

Lions are off a bye week and I think they’re getting up to speed after firing their offensive coordinator. Green Bay has not impressed the past few weeks and might be a bit beat up after games in Denver and Carolina. I’d expect the Lions to have to throw a lot to try and keep up so Stafford can pad those stats.

RB, Darren McFadden, Dallas Cowboys

We may have found him. The RUN-DMC of old is cracking the 100 yard barrier and getting the carries in Dallas. I’d expect more of the same against Tampa Bay with a few TD’s mixed in.

WR, Willie Snead, New Orleans Saints

Snead has been a hot target for Drew Brees as of late. You can be sure Brees and company will be slinging it around against the Redskins; and Snead will be on a lot of the receiving ends.

TE, Vernon Davis, Denver Broncos

Davis had some opportunities against the Colts and Manning just missed him. The Broncos will look to get Davis down the field deep and I’d expect the timing to be there at home this week against KC. Manning loves using his TE’s so look for the Broncos tho get Davis involved.

D/ST, Cincinnati Bengals

Home game on Monday night football against the Texans? The Bengals are going to make this a statement game on national TV that they are a legit undefeated team. I think they roll in this one.

SIT

QB, Russell Wilson, Seattle Seahawks

Big division game against the Cardinals at home this week. I love the Cardinals’ D and expect them to bottle up Wilson after and extra week of rest and preparation.

RB, Eddie Lacy, Green Bay Packers

I’m done with him! Starks is clearly the guy Green Bay should be leaning on. Lacy just doesn’t seem to have “it” this year. I’m done with him for the year…you should be too!

WR, Larry Fitzgerald, Arizona Cardinals

I think the Cardinals win this game but I think it’s Michael Floyd who does the damage. Fitz will get some touches but I think Floyd has the size to be effective deep against Seattle. Fitz’s targets will be less than normal.

TE, Kyle Rudolph, Minnesota Vikings

Normally a decent option but we don’t know if Bridgewater will be back and Oakland has been decent on defense. Too many question marks to feel confident.

D/ST, Green Bay

So Green Bay has lost 2 straight and now are back home looking for revenge agains tthe Lions. Easy! The Packers are going to win but Detroit is going to score; just not enough. I think it’s a 42-30 win for the Pack.
