Week one of the 2015 fantasy football season arrived in style on Thursday night, and so did our first batch of fantasy football player rankings. We knew not to trust the Patriots when it came to their running backs (ranking Brandon Bolden outside of our top-40), but our lack of trust also kept us from firmly trusting in Dion Lewis, who ended up producing a stellar night.

Rob Gronkowski was correctly marked as our top tight end for the week and that’s sure to stick with no other tight end likely to touch his 90+ yards and three scores. We also hit on Tom Brady (3rd), Ben Roethlisberger (8th), Julian Edelman (23th) and Antonio Brown (4th). We can’t know just yet if those rankings will stick or just how close we got it, but they should serve as a pretty good indication of where our head is at going into week one.

So should the rest of our fantasy football player rankings, which we have fully updated for Sunday and Monday. Last night suggests we’re in for a fun first week, and something tells me we’re just getting started. While it will be tough for anyone to top Brady and Gronk, you still may need some help figuring out who to start and sit and all that jazz. Check out our updated week 1 rankings for some guidance:
