Teddy Bridgwater raised plenty of eyebrows with his performance in his first ever NFL start last week in the Vikings’ 41-28 win over Atlanta, completing 19 of 30 passes for 317 yards and a rushing touchdown. Unfortunately, he rolled his ankle early in the 4th quarter, and his status for Week 5 is now in doubt.

The short week certainly doesn’t help matters. The Vikings departed Minneapolis for Wisconsin on Wednesday (with Bridgwater on board), but he’s officially listed as “questionable” for tomorrow night’s NFC North tilt. If he’s unable to go, then it’s back to good ol’ Christian Ponder for Minnesota. ‘Memba him?

If he’s a go, then Bridgwater is a pretty solid stream QB option for fantasy. He looks super comfortable in the pocket and out of it so far, and isn’t afraid to tuck it and scamper if necessary. This Packers defense isn’t exactly the 2000 Ravens, so there is a decent chance he could put up another solid performance.

If Ponder is the man under center…just don’t.
