Football starts tonight with the New England Patriots hosting the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Patriots will probably find a way to cheat their way to victory, which will be fun for us all. Except for the Steelers. Myself, Kevin Roberts, Keet Bailey and Terrence Kirker will be competing against each other to see who can come out on top with more correct picks each week, as well as throughout the season. Starting in week two, we will be conducting a “Vs the experts” picks contest, so be on the lookout for that and be sure to subscribe to our daily/weekly emails for all of our latest NFL and fantasy football content.

Tonight is just the start of a crazy week one – we assume. On to our NFL picks for week one:

Pittsburgh Steelers @ New England Patriots

Taylor Smith: Patriots

Kevin Roberts: Patriots

Keet Bailey: Patriots

Terrence Kirker: Patriots

Summary: New England is at home and the Steelers are without Maurkice Pouncey, Le’Veon Bell and Martavis Bryant. It’d seem fairly obvious anyways, but Tom Brady’s probably pretty pissed off, too.

Kansas City Chiefs @ Houston Texans

Taylor: Texans

Kevin: Texans

Keet: Chiefs

Terrence: Texans

Summary: Keet likes the Chiefs and maybe he’s right, but Houston is at home and has J.J. Watt. We fear J.J. Watt more than Keet.

Green Bay Packers @ Chicago Bears

Taylor: Packers

Kevin: Packers

Keet: Packers

Terrence: Packers

Summary: The Pack doesn’t have Jordy, but they tend to beat up on the Bears and Alshon Jeffery might not be 100% (or even play).

Cleveland Browns @ New York Jets

Taylor: Browns

Kevin: Jets

Keet: Jets

Terrence: Jets

Summary: Cleveland wins in the “having the worse offense” battle, but lose the game.

Indianapolis Colts @ Buffalo Bills

Taylor: Bills

Kevin: Bills

Keet: Colts

Terrence: Colts

Summary: It’s a split, as it probably should be. Elite defense vs. elite offense makes this a total toss up. Perhaps no Marcell Dareus is the tie-breaker.

Miami Dolphins @ Washington Redskins

Taylor: Dolphins

Kevin: Dolphins

Keet: Dolphins

Terrence: Dolphins

Summary: Good luck, Kirk Cousins.

Carolina Panthers @ Jacksonville Jaguars

Taylor: Panthers

Kevin: Jaguars

Keet: Panthers

Terrence: Jaguars

Summary: Another split, as we can’t decide between these cats. Neither will be all that good, we do know that.

Seattle Seahawks @ St. Louis Rams

Taylor: Seahawks

Kevin: Seahawks

Keet: Seahawks

Terrence: Seahawks

Summary: It’s all Seattle here, as the Rams play host but will likely still fall under a sea of Nick Foles turnovers. No Kam Chancellor could hurt Seattle, though.

New Orleans Saints @ Arizona Cardinals

Taylor: Cardinals

Kevin: Saints

Keet: Cardinals

Terrence: Cardinals

Summary: Kevin goes against the grain with the Saints, who suck on the road and start the year in the desert. That might not work out.

Detroit Lions @ San Diego Chargers

Taylor: Chargers

Kevin: Chargers

Keet: Lions

Terrence: Lions

Summary: Another split. Matthew Stafford sucks on the road but the Chargers still might not be better than a Ndamukong Suh-less Lions squad.

Tennessee Titans @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Taylor: Buccaneers

Kevin: Titans

Keet: Buccaneers

Terrence: Titans

Summary: Split number four, as no one can know for sure who wins in a battle of debuts between Jameis Winston and Marcus Mariota. Flip a coin.

Cincinnati Bengals @ Oakland Raiders

Taylor: Bengals

Kevin: Bengals

Keet: Bengals

Terrence: Raiders

Summary: Terrence goes for the gold star in picking Oakland, who can hang their hat on playing at home and that’s just about it.

Baltimore Ravens @ Denver Broncos

Taylor: Broncos

Kevin: Broncos

Keet: Ravens

Terrence: Broncos

Summary: Keet does his best Terrence/Kevin impression by going against everyone and taking the Ravens. He probably picked them to win the Super Bowl or something, too.

New York Giants @ Dallas Cowboys

Taylor: Cowboys

Kevin: Cowboys

Keet: Giants

Terrence: Cowboys (by 14)

Summary: Keet goes Giants while Terrence gets way too specific. And he’s a Giants fan!

Philadelphia Eagles @ Atlanta Falcons

Taylor: Falcons

Kevin: Eagles

Keet: Falcons

Terrence: Eagles

Summary: Our fifth split. Told you week one could be a wild ride! This should be a shootout, but if the past two years in the NFL tell us anything, ATL wins, 6 to 2.

Minnesota Vikings @ San Francisco 49ers

Taylor: Vikings

Kevin: Vikings

Keet: Vikings

Terrence: Vikings

Summary: All of the Vikings picks here. Man, no one believe in the 49ers, like AT ALL.
