Jonathan Valencia

The Editor-in-Chief of Breaking Football, Jonathan has been an amateur NFL Draft evaluator for nearly the past five years. He prides himself on producing extensive, informative content. Zach Hicks

Zach Hicks is from Gainesville, Virginia. After playing recreational and high school football for about 10 years, he ultimately realized he lacked the skill to play the sport he loved. He has been scouting prospects for about three years now and previously had some of his work posted on Pro Football Spot last draft season. Besides loving the NFL draft, Zach is also a huge Redskins fan and hopes that one day they can actually accomplish something in the playoffs.

Michael Kist

Michael is an NFL Draft enthusiast, aspiring scout, and grandson of longtime East Stroudsburg (Pa.) HS football coach John P. Kist. Winner of the Scouting Academy’s #ProveIt competition, Michael also hosts the Locked on Eagles podcast and contributes for Inside the Pylon. Follow him on Twitter @MichaelKistNFL.

Steve Seufert

Steve Seufert is a huge Washington Redskins fan who attends 6-8 Redskins games a year. Steve played football up until his senior year of high school where he played quarterback and earned all conference defensive back honors as a Senior. Steve is a rookie writer and is looking forward to gaining experience and sharing his NFL Draft work on the Breaking Football platform.

Chris Spooner

A few years ago, Chris Spooner decided to take his passion that he’s always had for the NFL and do something with it. He started a personal blog, “A Spoonful of Sports”, so he could put his thoughts and opinions out there for more than just his close friends to hear. Nick is an avid fantasy footballer and avid sports follower from Detroit, Michigan. He hosts the Ten in the Head video podcast which can be found at

Michael Peterson

Michael Peterson is an irrational Chargers fan from the heart of the Midwest who is numb to laughter he often receives for admitting that. He spent a year playing tight end and punter at FCS Drake University, before finishing out at the University of Iowa this past December. After hanging up the cleats, Michael has used fantasy football and writing as a means to focus his undying love of the sport.

Cagen Cantrell

Cagen Cantrell, 19, is the newest member of the Breaking Football™ staff. Cagen had a brief amateur career playing the game of football during high school and in college. He played one season at East LA Community College as a running back and has been seen online as a scouting contributor to Paulo Figari’s website NFLDraftSquad.

Anthony Licciardi

Anthony is a die-hard Mets, Jets and Knicks fan who’s always willing to blame the owners. He’s been playing sports since he’s been able to walk and following the NFL Draft since 2012. Anthony covers the NFL Draft, along with the Indianapolis Colts.

Riley Auman

Riley is a geographically challenged Astros, Suns and Bucs fan. He’s a high school student and soccer player who’s been following the draft closely since 2012.

Brad Kelly

Brad is in his second year as the wide receivers and defensive ends Coach at Portsmouth High School in Portsmouth, Rhode Island, the same high school in which he attended. He also coaches indoor and outdoor track & field, specializing the sprinters and jumpers. Brad attended Salve Regina University where he played football and rugby, splitting time between wide receiver and tight end. He graduated college in 2015 with a degree in Criminal Justice and is currently working towards his Masters.

Sean Nazar

Sean loves all things football, ranging anywhere from scouting to analytics. Aspiring to work in the National Football League after serving in the Coast Guard. A Texas native who spurned the South for the bright lights of L.A., Taylor Smith has made a name for himself as a journeyman of sorts in the NBA world. Between splitting his time writing for the Clippers and various basketball affiliations, Smith helps out with breaking NFL news and lends his insight during the fantasy football season. He’s a fan of all things Houston and just like you, wants to do DFS for a living.

A shameless fan of all things Cleveland, Keet Bailey rocks the draft like few can. Chock full of scouting notes on the top draft prospects, Bailey competes yearly in The Huddle Report’s draft accuracy competition and delivers mock drafts and scouting reports like nobody’s business. A former fantasy football expert, Bailey is slowly warming up to the idea of giving his all to the grind again.

A backend guru, William Roberts handles everything to do with keeping Breaking Football looking clean and working. From development and live fantasy chats to support and marketing campaigns, William makes sure everything at BF runs smoothly.
