The 2015 NFL season has all the makings of a great one. Will the New England Patriots repeat as Super Bowl champions? Could the Seattle Seahawks play in three straight Super Bowls? Does Peyton Manning make one last run at winning another championship? The NFL season is right around the corner, and appears loaded with a plethora of engaging story-lines and burning questions that will have NFL fans loving every minute of it.

There are loads of must-see NFL games on the schedule this year, but five in particular that stand out above the rest. Let’s break them down and see why you may want to catch them on TV at all costs, or even take them in live:

1. Dallas Cowboys at Philadelphia Eagles (Week 2)

This has always been a heated rivalry for years in the NFL, toss in DeMarco Murray in an Eagles uniform and get ready for fireworks. This game has a little bit of everything. How will Sam Bradford perform under Head Coach Chip Kelly? Will the Cowboys turn Darren McFadden into a serviceable running back? Will Murray be worn down from his workload last season? The best part about this game is, we get to find out a lot about these two NFC East rivals in week two.

2. New England Patriots at Denver Broncos (Week 12)

Tom Brady versus Peyton Manning. What else needs to be said about this week 12 match up? Peyton and Brady are arguably two of the best quarterbacks to ever take a snap in the NFL. Peyton is nearing retirement, so who knows how many opportunities are left to see this match up? When this QB rivalry is all said and done it will be interesting to see who wins the last game between Brady and Manning.

3. Dallas Cowboys at Green Bay Packers (Week 14)

Did Dez catch it? Cowboy fans all across the country have had this game circled since the 2015 NFL schedule was released. This is a late season matchup which could have both teams playing for home field advantage throughout the playoffs. It will be interesting to see if this game can live up to the meeting between the two last season in the playoffs.

4. Seattle Seahawks at Green Bay Packers (Week 2)

Do you remember how the Seahawks clinched the NFC Championship last year? This game will have the hype and buildup of a playoff game in just week two. Not to mention Aaron Rodgers versus Russell Wilson is quite an exciting match up in its own right. I have a feeling this game will set the bar for the rest of the NFL schedule in 2015.

5. New England Patriots at Dallas Cowboys (Week 5)

The Patriots and Cowboys have two of the most hated fan bases in the NFL. This was an easy choice for me. Tom Brady won’t be back from his suspension yet but Jimmy Garoppolo will make his (likely) last start of 2015 at Dallas. The Cowboys should have their running back situation under control by week five and the two could combine to make this one of the more explosive shootouts of the 2015 NFL season. This game has all the makings of a great matchup between two proud franchises.

Honorable Mention

1. Pittsburgh Steelers at New England Patriots (NFL Kickoff Game)
2. Arizona Cardinals at Pittsburgh Steelers (Week 6)
3. New England Patriots at Indianapolis Colts (Week 6)
