Well, it’s almost Sunday. Whether it be for DFS or for regular fantasy football league play you want to start the players who are going to be the top performers at their position. Lucky for you I’ve looked it over, and broken down who I think will be the top fantasy option at EVERY position.

QB Andrew Luck

I picked him last week and was wrong. But that doesn’t discourage me. Luck is due for a big impact game, and he is playing a Jaguars team that surrendered 51 points last weekend. Gore has finally gotten going on the ground, which is going to open up the air for Luck. Obviously you are starting him if he is on your fantasy team, but this would be a good week to spend the extra bit in DFS formats and take this guy.

RB Latavius Murray

Murray and the Raiders offense have really looked in synch for the last two weeks. The Raiders are my pick in survivor pools this week, and it is in large part Murray that has given me the confidence to pick them. The Raiders should be able to move the ball very effectively against the Bears, and I imagine they will lean on Murray in the red zone. I expect another 100 yard day out of Murray, with a pair of touchdowns to boot.

WR Mike Evans

This is the only position where I’m really going out on a limb. But Evans was targeted 14 times last week, and with Austin Sefarian-Jenkins out I expect Winston to target him a similar amount of times this week. I believe after this week defenses will start game planning to shut Evans out of the game when they play Tampa. But that will only be after Evans scorches the Panthers this weekend.

TE Greg Olsen

Cam just really has no one else to throw the ball to. Olsen should be a top five tight end every weekend, and with Gronkowski not playing this weekend due to a bye week I think Olsen is a no-brainer for highest scoring tight end this weekend. I don’t know if he will be as dominant this week as he was last week, but I do think that Tampa doesn’t have a way of taking him out of the game without letting Cam Newton scorch them with his feet.

K Brandon McManus

The Vikings have held up pretty strong on defense for the last two weeks. And Denver was clearly finding their groove offensively last week. The one thing about Denver at the moment however is that Demariyus Thomas is their only real red-zone threat. Considering how well Minnesota did taking Calvin Johnson out of the game a couple of weeks ago I imagine they can do the same to Thomas. What I’m getting it is I’m sure Denver will move the ball effectively, but I think they will have trouble scoring touchdowns. Which is where McManus comes in and scores a ton of fantasy points.

DEF Arizona

Over the last two weeks St. Louis has only scored 16 points. And that is while playing against defenses that are SIGNIFICANTLY worse defenses than Arizona. I don’t know if they will score two touchdowns and a safety like they did last week, but I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if they did.

Who do you think will be the top scorers this weekend? Let us know in the comments!
