In the Wednesday practice leading up to the Jacksonville Jaguars Week 2 matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles, Marqise Lee pulled his hamstring and has yet to fully recover. Despite the injury, Lee started and put up a lousy 11 yards on two catches against the Washington Redskins. Coach Gus Bradley was clearly frustrated after the loss, mentioning that his young receiving corps has been making too many mental mistakes and they need to show improvement.
Unfortunately for Lee, he retweaked his hamstring injury yesterday, Wednesday, forcing him to miss much needed practice time. He did not practice on Thursday and it has been reported that Lee will be OUT for Sunday’s game versus the Indianapolis Colts. Already behind Allen Hurns and Cecil Shorts on the Jaguars wide receiver depth chart, Lee is in danger of sliding even further behind the likes of Allen Robinson. Even without the depth chart move, Lee is currently the number three receiver on an offense the lacks any rhythm or explosion. That being said, if there is an appealing free agent in your league, do not hesitate to drop the once, much-hyped rookie from USC.
