There is no denying the insane draft stock of Leonard Williams, who boasts the size, strength and versatility to play all over the defensive line and can be an impact player at the next level both as a run stuffer and pass rusher. There are some minor questions about Williams’ motor on the field but he’s otherwise shaping up as “can’t miss” as a prospect can be in the 2015 NFL Draft. Strengths

  • Violent hands and is very aggressive off of the snap

  • Can manipulate blockers. Explosive off of the line with excellent foot speed and quickness

  • Versatile (3 technique or 5)

  • Able to play through minor injuries

  • Long/large frame making it difficult to block

  • Uses hands extremely well to fend off would be blockers
  • Excellent play awareness, and even has shown some ability to drop back in coverage

  • Tons of experience and still plenty of upside

  • Very strong and physical
  • Two way force with ability to pursue up the middle and outside, as well as sniff out run

Weaknesses

  • Needs to refine his techniques a bit and find more leverage

  • Length when rushing from the interior at times holds him back

  • Minor questions about motor and taking plays off at times
