It’s almost the weekend, which means it’s time to break down who is primed to be the most valuable player at every fantasy football position in week six. This list will help you dominate in DFS leagues, and in standard fantasy leagues:

Tom Brady, Quarterback, New England

Tom Terrific is living up to his moniker, as he is playing the best football of his career. And the guy is playing against the team that accused him of deflating footballs last year, and effectively placed a chip the size of Mt. Rushmore on Tom’s shoulder. I think he comes in and tears this terrible Colts team to pieces, and the Patriots run up the score just to make a statement. Expect big points out of Brady, and if you have any other Patriot players, you probably want to start them, as well.

Chris Ivory, Running Back, New York Jets

Ivory got to enjoy a nice week off last week, and should benefit greatly from the rest week. Ivory will also benefit from having a healthy Decker and Marshall in the lineup on Sunday. Against the Jets you really must pick your poison, and I believe the Redskins will be more concerned with the passing game of the Jets than the running. If you disagree with me than you must concede that either Decker or Marshall will be primed for a big game. I’m telling you, you are going to want a Jet in your lineup this weekend. And in my opinion that Jet is Chris Ivory. I expect 150 total yards and a pair of touchdowns out of the “best running back in the league“.

Tyler Eifert, Tight End, Cincinnati

The sexier pick here would be Gronkowski. But I believe Eifert will outscore the gargantuan Patriot. Cincinnati has such an embarrassment of riches on the offensive side of the ball that they are nearly impossible to defend. Between trying to defend AJ Green, Gio Bernard, Jeremy Hill, and Tyler Eifert someone is sure to slip through the cracks of the opposition’s defense. This week, like last, I believe it will be Eifert. 5+ Catches, 80+ yards, and 1+ touchdown is in store for Eifert this weekend. He’s the guy worth targeting in DFS.

Larry Fitzgerald, Wide Receiver, Arizona

Fitzgerald has returned from fantasy irrelevancy this season. Fitz has six touchdowns in five games, including two multiple touchdown games. This week could easily be another multiple touchdown week, as Arizona takes on a Steelers defense that has allowed the 13th most passing yards per game of any team this season. Pittsburgh still has the offense to put some points on the board, which should encourage the Cardinals to score points, rather than just conservatively running the clock like they would against a truly inferior team (i.e. Detroit). I think Fitzgerald continues his renaissance this week with at least 100 yards and 1-3 touchdowns to boot.

Minnesota Vikings, Team Defense

The Vikings are coming off of a bye week, which means not only will their defense be well rested, but also well-educated as to the offensive tendencies of their opponents. Not to mention that the Chiefs are missing their bell-cow Jamaal Charles. The Chiefs entire offense has revolved around Charles for years, and losing him from their lineup ensures that Alex Smith will have to play quarterback more aggressively (which is not Smiths cup of tea). I think things are going to be ugly for the Chiefs offense, from here on out, and things will be especially ugly this weekend. I’m expecting an uncharacteristically high number of interceptions for Smith this week, as the Chiefs transition to a more pass-happy offensive style. If you are into streaming defenses, or are looking for that big defense to start in DFS, look no further than the Vikings.

Josh Brown, Kicker, New York Giants

The Eagles have a good red-zone defense, and the Giants lack valuable red-zone weapons on offense. I don’t think it will be particularly difficult for the Giants to move the ball down the field, but I expect it will be difficult for them to punch the ball into the end-zone. This is why I believe Josh Brown is primed for a big week in the kicking department. Once again if you are playing the streaming game at kicker, and Josh Brown is available than look no further. And if you are looking for the best kicker to choose in DFS than, once again, look no further.

What do you guys think? Who would you put as the best player at every position? Let us know in the comments!
