Week one is here and you’re looking for a sleeper running back to make up for a banged up LeSean McCoy, a suspended Le’Veon Bell or a jock-torn Arian Foster. Ha! Good luck with that.

In all seriousness, hopefully you planned ahead and have 2-3 solid bench options you can at least consider looking to. Dion Lewis shot up out of nowhere and could have value, Duke Johnson could be in for a role in week one and Ameer Abdullah might end up having more value than Joique Bell right out of the gates. Those three guys are perfect examples of high upside guys you can’t necessarily trust just yet.

That’s what running back rankings are for! You can search within my week one RB rankings to see where your options lie, what I think of them and where I rank them among their rushing brethren. Some guys I’d value differently for the DFS realm, but for the most part if I rank a guy somewhere, I think he’s in for a better day than the guy below him. Usually you don’t have to choose between this week’s top guy (Jeremy Hill) and a Jamaal Charles, and that’s not what I’m doing. Once you get outside of the top-10, of course, you can start using this as more of a start/sit database.

With that, let’s peruse my week 1 fantasy running back rankings:
