Jameis Winston and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers won’t enter the Superdome short-handed in week two, as star #1 wide receiver Mike Evans is reportedly set to make his 2015 debut. Evans is apparently over a hamstring issue that robbed him of a week one start, and looks to be ready to rock against the Saints this week.
#Bucs WR Mike Evans will be back on the field today after missing last week with a hamstring pull, source said. Good news for Jameis Winston

It’s worth wondering what the presence of Evans means for Tampa Bay’s offense, which struggled mightily without him in an ugly 42-14 loss to the Titans last week. Evans should be able to balance things out, which should take pressure off of Winston and allow the likes of Vincent Jackson and Austin Seferian-Jenkins to roam free against a suspect Saints defense. The presence of Evans could also help the Bucs sustain the running game with Doug Martin.
Evans is a total stud when healthy, so he’s a must-start in your season long fantasy football leagues and there’s not much debate over it. You simply aren’t going to have a replacement that can do what he does, so even if you feel it’s a risk, start him. Evans being active bumps Vincent Jackson and ASF down a bit when it comes to upside, as Evans will probably by Winston’s go-to target on deep balls and in the red-zone. Seemingly close to 100%, Evans is worth taking on a shot on in daily fantasy football leagues despite a fairly hefty price in week two. His health woes could have him being a low-owned contrarian play.
