We all knew Melvin Gordon was a risky draft pick this past Summer when we took part in our annual fantasy draft(s). If you decided to roll the dice on the sophomore tailback out of Wisconsin, you’re well aware that the investment has paid dividends. It looks like your investment has reached it’s deadline.

Entering week 15, Gordon sits as the 4th ranked fantasy RB. However, he is likely to play after suffering a knee sprain and hip strain this past week. This couldn’t have come at a worse time for fantasy owners who are still alive and set to battle in their semifinals.

However, if you’re still alive after this week, there is a chance he could return for your championship game in week 16.

Fantasy Impact

In Gordon’s absence, Kenneth Farrow received a career-high 22 touches, including 6 catches, and racked up a solid 88 total yards. The rookie RB out of Houston is primed for a big role this week against an Oakland defense which allows the 3rd most rushing yards.

Farrow is a viable FLEX play this week and well worth the waiver claim – hopefully you were able to snatch him up before the competition. He may even still be on the market – available in 70% of ESPN leagues.
