It just seems like the injury bug never stops biting the San Diego Chargers. Just one week after losing Keenan Allen for the season, Danny Woodhead is added to that list after suffering a torn ACL in week 2’s victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Fantasy Impact

Luckily for the San Diego Chargers, Melvin Gordon has emerged early on this season and has lived up to his 15th overall draft slot in 2015 after a disappointing rookie season. His fantasy value only increases with Woodhead out and he know holds legitimate RB1 potential.

Aside from Gordon, Andre Williams is the name on the depth chart that gains some attention. While I wouldn’t bother adding him, he may see a decent workload while spelling Gordon for the rest of the year.
