New York Jets running back Chris Ivory is expected to start against the Indianapolis Colts on Monday Night Football. Ivory reportedly was dealing with a minor groin injury he suffered earlier in the week during practice, and was previously questionable for New York’s week two contest. Per reports, Ivory is active and is not expected to be limited in the game.
Chris Ivory good to go for the Jets. Expect him to set a physical tone for them Monday night

There had been concern about Ivory’s availability for this huge AFC clash, but the Jets seem to have simply been playing it safe all week with their star rusher. With a terrific matchup against a weak Indianapolis run defense, New York should lean on their ground game early and often on Monday night. Backup running back Bilal Powell could also be involved, but to a lesser extent with Ivory seemingly at full strength.
The big issue going into the weekend was the lack of options beyond Chris Ivory if you were to roll with him. It’s better to be safe than sorry, but if you held out and used him in DFS or kept him in your season long league’s lineup, there is a decent chance you get rewarded tonight. Ivory was a mashing machine in week one, as he abused a bad Browns run defense to the tune of 91 rushing yards and two scores. He could post similar numbers tonight against a weak Colts defense. He’s a strong (and cheap) daily fantasy football option and is obviously a must-start if you haven’t finalized your week 2 roster at the RB spot in season long leagues.
