The Indianapolis Colts narrowly escaped a huge week two loss with star quarterback Andrew Luck nursing a shoulder injury on the sidelines. Luckily they topped the Jaguars 16-13 in overtime and enter their week five Thursday Night Football showdown with the Houston Texans at 2-2.
They’ll also have Andrew Luck back under center.
Per NFL Network’s Ian Rappoport, Luck is expected to play against the Texans on Thursday night and his shoulder injury that kept him out of week four is not viewed as a long-term issue.

It looks as though the Colts saw the Jags as an opponent they could get by without Luck, and on a short week, opted to rest their star passer to make sure he’d be fully ready to take down J.J. Watt and the Texans in week five.
Luck has had a rocky start to the 2015 NFL season and that has definitely translated into shaky fantasy production. He’ll enter an interesting matchup against a divisional foe with a rough 5 to 7 TD:INT ratio, but after seeing the Atlanta Falcons abuse the Texans in a huge week four blowout win, the matchup may not be all that scary. The point is Luck should be healthy and it sounds like he’ll be ready to go in a huge game for the Colts, who could nab their third straight win. Luck still may not be the best idea in daily fantasy leagues, but if he’s a go you have to use him in season long fantasy football leagues.
