There has been an alarming amount of injuries over the last couple of weeks of the NFL season. Maybe that is making you second guess who you should start in your fantasy league or in DFS leagues. Well, I’m here to help make your decisions a little easier, by letting you know who the top scorers are going to be in every position.

Eli Manning, New York Giants, Quarterback

Eli is my pick for top scoring fantasy QB this week. He has been great as of late, especially last week, where he threw six touchdown passes. This week he gets to play against a Tampa Bay squad that has been dismal against opposing quarterbacks this year. If you’ve got Eli on your team he is a must start, and I’d expect him to put up something in the 25 point range. You will also want to get him on your team in DFS.

Devonta Freeman, Atlanta Falcons, Running Back

Devonta has been slightly down the last couple of weeks (which for him is still 13 points per week), but this weekend he has an extremely favorable matchup against the 49’ers who have been pretty bad against opposing running backs this year. I think Devonta has an extremely high floor, and a crazy high ceiling as well. Devonta’s floor is in the vicinity of 100 yards and a touchdown, and his ceiling is around three touchdowns and 200 yards.

Alshon Jeffery, Chicago Bears, Wide Receiver

After a very slow start to this season from Jeffery, he has been absolute dynamite in his last two games. San Diego games this year have very often been high scoring close affairs. And this week will be more of the same. Jeffery is going to get a ton of looks since he is by far the most potent fantasy player left on the Bears offense. Obviously if you have Jeffery on your fantasy team he is a must start, but he is definitely the guy to target in DFS as well.

Heath Miller, Pittsburgh Steelers, Tight End

The return of Roethlisberger means prosperity for all players in the Steelers offense. But last week the greatest beneficiary was Miller. Miller saw the most targets, and pulled in the most receptions and receiving yards last week. This week they are playing a Raiders team who has surrendered the most fantasy points to tight ends this season. I think Miller will put up upwards of 100 yards again this week, along with a pair of touchdowns.

New England Patriots, Defense

This is a pretty easy and obvious pick. The Redskins are a pretty low level offensive team, and the Patriots are one of the best scheming defenses in the league. They probably won’t be available to stream, but if they are than look no further. Definitely the defense to start in DFS formats as well.

Sebastian Janikowski, Oakland Raiders, Kicker

The Raiders have been amazing as of late. But the Steelers defense has also been pretty stingy this season. I think the Raiders will continue to find success moving the ball, but will struggle to find the end zone. Which is why I think Janikowski is primed for a big week kicking. Over the last two weeks Janikowski has averaged 12.5 points, and I think he will have at least a similar fantasy output this week.

Do you agree with the list? Who do you think will be the top scorer’s this week? Let us know in the comments!
