One year removed from a 82-1,332-9 campaign with the Philadelphia Eagles, wide receiver DeSean Jackson is yet to find his stride in Jay Gruden’s offense down in Washington. After posting 8 catches for 62 yards in week one, fantasy owners were hoping to see Jackson speed into the end zone against a depleted Jaguar defense in week 2.

Early in the Eagles routing of Jacksonville, Jackson went down with what was diagnosed as a sprain in his AC joint. Jackson is a player that needs to be monitored day to day, because simply, the Redskins have listed him as day-to-day. It seems as though he will be all systems go in week three against his former team, the Philadelphia Eagles, a matchup you want Jackson in your lineup for.

With both DeSean Jackson and Jordan Reed having unsure status’s for week 3’s matchup, Niles Paul is the must add for this depleted Redskins receiving squad. Paul, the second string tight end has posted a very respectable 12 catches for 185 yards and a touchdown with Jordan Reed out, and if Jackson must sit as well, expect Paul’s targets only to rise.
