Arian Foster has had two excellent games to start his 2014 season, but his status for Week 3 is in doubt. According to the Texans’ injury report, Foster is listed as “questionable” for Sunday’s tilt with the Giants with a hamstring injury.

Foster has been limited in practice in each of the last three days, though all indications previously had been that he’d be good-to-go once game day arrived. He’s carried it 55 times for 241 yards and a score thus far this season and has reestablished himself as a viable fantasy RB1.

If Foster misses the game, the other backs on the Texans roster are Alfred Blue, Jonathan Grimes and the corpse of Ronnie Brown. Basically, if you’re a Foster owner, you’d better be praying that he’s healthy enough to play in this game. If you’re desperate and really need a replacement, I suppose Blue would be the choice. Thus far, he’s second on the team with 12 carries, while Grimes has 4 and Brown has 3. Blue is a late-round rookie, but the team seems to like him enough at this point. The Texans have been fairly run-heavy in the earlygoing, likely in an attempt to limit the chances of a mistake by Ryan Fitzpatrick.
