If you haven’t heard, DraftKings has rolled out an NFL week one free roll with $100,000 worth of prizes with the winner taking home $10,000. This is a really great contest for you to jump into if you are new to DraftKings or NFL as a daily fantasy sport. Anytime you can get your hands on a piece of $100,000 for free, you need to take advantage of it.

Here are some value plays per position to use in the week one free roll:

Quarterback – It will be key to get a good performance from your quarterback in order to have a good showing in the contest. One guy to target with expected low ownership is Andy Dalton who has a tasty matchup against the Oakland Raiders.

Running Back – Bishop Sankey is priced really cheap at $4,300 and gets the Tampa Bay Buccaneers defense in week one, which could be a very good matchup to exploit. DeMarco Murray gets the Atlanta Falcons, as well, a team who really struggled versus the run last season in a really favorable opener for the Eagles offense. Murray is more expensive ($6,700) but in Philly’s up-tempo offense he could be a great pick.

Wide Receiver – After the news of Jordy Nelson being out for the season, it is reasonable to assume everyone will be on Davante Adams for salary relief, so this is a good chance to be different than the field. Look around that range of pricing ($4,400) to find a sleeper you like to be a good contrarian pick. Guys like Eddie Royal, Devin Funchess and Charles Johnson could be worth considering.

Pairing A.J Green up with quarterback Andy Dalton should make for a nice mini stack in week one, as it’s always nice to find a winning QB/WR dup. As mentioned earlier, the Eagles have a great matchup to start the season, making wide out Jordan Matthews look like a really good option to pair up with A.J Green. Rookie Nelson Agholor is also fairly cheap and could be considered.

Tight End – Delanie Walker, if the Titans under rookie quarterback Marcus Mariota want to be successful Walker will have to show up and put up numbers every week. He’s also dirt cheap ($3,400), so the risk is minimal.

After selecting the Miami defense you will have $7,700 in left over salary with this roster creation. Ultimately the choice is yours to decide what to do with the rest of your roster come week one for this great freeroll DraftKings is rolling out for us to play in week one.
