Every year in the NFL Draft as it drags into day 3, the top dogs of the class are off the board. Thus, we may tend to shift the channel or do something else with our Saturday. While the excitement may not be there like it was on day one, quality players remain on the board. You never know who is going to come out as that next Tom Brady.

Prospects like Brady, Bo Jackson, and Kurt Warner have all been overlooked during the NFL Draft. In these rankings, I will try to be pointing out the prospects that aren’t getting as much hype as they should be. For example, Kareem Hunt and Carlos Henderson aren’t getting enough credit for their production in college. Hunt fumbled only once out of 782 carries, he even recovered his only fumble! Last season Henderson forced the most missed tackles out of any other player! Then there are players like Aaron Jones, a late 6th round pick to mid 7th round guy who brings extreme versatility, being able to run well, catch well, and evade defenders.

To be clear, the way I’m categorizing “sleeper” in this piece is a player who isn’t getting the recognition of other top guys at the position, but he still presents quality talent which you can pickup from the 3rd round and beyond. You can use these rankings as a “watch list” as the draft enters the later stages.
