Week 1 has come and gone and it’s time for our first official power rankings. There were a few surprises this week and a few things we all saw coming. We’ll be ranking the best and worst teams in the NFL 1-32.

1.  Seattle Seahawks
Record: 1-0
The reigning Super Bowl champs dominated, potential contenders to for their title, the Green Bay Packers. They made a very good team look very bad.

2. Denver Broncos
Record: 1-0
The Broncos looked to be back to form. Offense looks good, defense doesn’t. They will be in the AFC final four again this season

3. Carolina Panthers
Record: 1-0
The Panthers won on the road without Cam Newton. The defense is great, and rookie Kelvin Benjamin is going to be a star. Now they just need to get their QB healthy. People quickly forget the Panthers had a bye last year in a tough NFC.

4. Cincinnati Bengals
Record: 1-0
The Bengals defense should be one of the best in the league and Andy Dalton and A.J. Green looked to be in midseason form.

5. San Francisco 49ers
Record: 1-0
The 49ers looked good against the Cowboys. We understand the Cowboys defense is not very good. What was impressive is the way the new look defense played.

6. Detroit Lions
Record: 1-0
The Lions really beat up on the Giants. They dominated on both sides of the ball.

7. Arizona Cardinals
Record: 1-0
The Cardinals came back and had a big win against a tough Chargers team on MNF.

8. New England Patriots
Record: 0-1
The Patriots blew a 20-10 half time lead and ended up losing 33-20 to the Dolphins. They’re still the Patriots. Can’t drop them too far.

9. New Orleans Saints
Record: 0-1
The Saints lost a shoot-out in overtime in Atlanta. We already knew the Saints aren’t a great road team, and maybe the Falcons are better than many expected. We’ll give the Saints the benefit of the doubt for now.

10. Green Bay Packers
Record: 0-1
The Packers lost and looked terrible doing it. The lost a key lineman and Eddie Lacy suffered a concussion. The Legion of Boom will do that to you.

11. Miami Dolphins
Record: 1-0
The Dolphins straight mollywopped Tom Brady and Patriots in the second half. If that pass rush continues, the Phins could be playoff bound.

12. Atlanta Falcons
Record: 1-0
The Saints may not be great on the road, however when you win a shoot-out with Drew Brees, you get a lot of credit. Don’t be surprised if you see Atlanta finish the season much higher or much lower on this list. The Jury is still very much out on them.

13. Philadelphia Eagles
Record: 1-0
The Eagles beat the Jags, but didn’t exactly look great doing it. Nonetheless, the talent is there and they looked way better than anybody else in the NFC East.

14. Pittsburgh Steelers
Record: 1-0
The Steelers were blowing out the Browns early, only to allow them to come all the back. Luckily for them they managed to hold them off and secure the victory. They are another team the jury is still out on. On a side note, Antonio Browns flying Lou Kang kick may have been the greatest thing I’ve seen since Sean Taylor blew up the punter in the Pro Bowl.

15. Houston Texans
Record: 1-0
J.J. Watt was dominant and that defense looked very good. Do not forget, heading in to last season the Texans were expected to be Super Bowl contenders.

16. Tennessee Titans
Record: 1-0
The Titans really took it to the Chiefs in Week 1. The Chiefs may not win more than five games. Last year started to look like a fluke the minute they played an NFL quarterback.

17. Indianapolis Colts
Record: 0-1
The Colt’s defense did not look good, however a lot of defenses look bad against Denver. The biggest red flag is the fact they had no pass rush and now Robert Mathis is out for the season. Why do they continue to start Trent Richardson?

18. San Diego Chargers
Record: 0-1
The Chargers really let one slip away on Monday night. Phillip Rivers has to play better in the fourth quarter, the offense looked completely out of sync.

19. Minnesota Vikings
Record: 1-0
The Vikings really dominated a Rams team may expected to make a run at the playoffs. The issue is the Rams don’t have a QB. Still a beat down like that merits some respect.

20. Buffalo Bills
Record 1-0
Buffalo beat a Chicago team that has a very high-powered offense. Any way you look at it the win was both surprising and impressive.

21. Chicago Bears
Record: 0-1
The Bears lost to Buffalo in over time without Alshon Jeffery to finish out the game. It was a tough loss and Jay Cutler looked like Jay Cutler, but we’re not quite ready to throw the towel in on Chicago just quite yet.

22. New York Jets
Record: 1-0
Yea, the Jets won, but they beat the Raiders. Does that even count in the standings?

23. Baltimore Ravens
Record: 0-1
The Ravens lost to a very tough Bengals team. Nonetheless, it was a home opener, and they really haven’t been the same since overhauling their team after winning the Super Bowl. You can’t pay Joe Flacco that much money and you don’t just replace all-time greats like Ray Lewis and Ed Reed.

24. Washington Redskins
Record: 0-1
What is wrong with this offense? They have all the talent you could ever want. Maybe, just maybe, Watt was just that good. Let’s give them one more week to show something.

25. Cleveland Browns
Record: 0-1
The Browns put up a good fight against the Steelers. They just don’t have enough talent.

26. Jacksonville Jaguars
Record: 0-1
The Jags are a much better team than they were at this time last season. They won’t be making any playoff runs, but they are heading in the right direction.

27. Dallas Cowboys
Record: 0-1
The defense is bad. The QB is old. The team is not good. It’s going to be tough for the Cowboys to hit their usual 8-8 mark this season.

28. Kansas City Chiefs
Record: 0-1
The Chiefs hot start last season was a fluke. They got extremely lucky with a super easy schedule. Do not expect much from them this season.

29. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Record: 0-1

The Bucs lost to the Panthers without Cam Newton. That is pretty much inexcusable. That offense should not have enough fire power to beat the Bucs defense.

30. St. Louis Rams
Record: 0-1
What the? How many points did the Vikings hang on them!? You can understand the Rams not scoring points, but not giving up 34 points to Minnesota, even if seven points were via pick six.

31. New York Giants
Record: 0-1
The Giants looked pretty much as bad as everyone expected. They got beat up and down the field in all three phases of the game.

32. Oakland Raiders
Record: 0-1
Not only did they lose, they lost to the Jets. Over the past decade the Raiders have spent more time in this slot than any other team in the NFL.
